eating the humble pie.

This past week, I've been busy going on a course namely to say Scaffold Erector Course. Don't ask me why I go for such course as this is entirely plan by my dearest boss. This is a totally new thing for me and it is so much different from my usual scope of job.

During the entire course of duration, it was really not what I expected as usually where course is concern,it only involve theory and no practical needed. But hell,I was wrong as this require both.

On the first day of the course, all of us sat in a nice air-condition room(haha) as most of us in the course are usual battling with the heat. And what was to be expected during the end of the first day lesson was that I still remember the instructor say: "Tomorrow please bring an extra shirt as you all will be erecting a scaffold as you guys will sweat a lot."

Second day, practical session begin,as usual most are confused and planning had to start. As usual to cut short we made a mess of things.

On the third day,slightly better,we were able to complete two scaffold but still not that perfect. And last day was the examination for the practical and theory. It was the final day and after two days of messing up,we finally got our act together and work as a team and everybody is helping and putting the plan to perfection.

Irony of this is I finally got to know how hard the labour worker felt when they did this job and it also made me realise that no person can work alone. Sure,my body was in a lot of pain and I felt tired but hey everyone who attend this course with me felt the same way too an in some way it is a bittersweet experience. Looking back at the four days of torturous course it sure take a lot of guts and some humbling pie to make all of us realise how people in this field felt. I have no words to describe but I thank my boss for sending me to this course.

Its been more than 3months of the new year that I have written on the blog and seriously much have change since the last time I wrote in here.

During month of January 2009, I went to Indonesia,Jakarta and Bandung . It was an exhilirating place down there and it was a breathtaking sight. Different from Singapore where everything is so fast pace and hot whereas there, the weather was slighty cold and DEFINITELY not hot in here. Shopping is just so crazy(for ladies,you definitely will go crazy looking at the price of branded handbag).

Secondly, I got admitted into an Engineering School at Singapore Polytechnic. The course is a part-time diploma and the duration of time I have to spent is 5 years but its definitely because staying here in this country,you must never be satisfiy with what you have.

Lastly, things have been going wrong in my work and I'm intending to find a better horizon because nobody seems to be bother with me and hell,do I even care.

boring day

It's me again and well nothing much really happen last week except for a party that was held in my workplace. Well normal routine,normal job what else seems so montonous now adays.

Well today nothing much to write anyway execpt that today is partly cloudly and the weathers a bit damp. Kinda makes me feel very sleepy, hmm I felt lonely though at this point of time I really need someone to be my side and don't ask me why I feel like this..

hi again ya all..well today is pretty fine I guess, just finish my monthly meeting which is kind of a routine for me and it gets kind of boring actually to be repeating the same thing over and over again.

Firstly nothing much just my usual routine in the office so I decided to get into my writting mode again(yeah yeah I know that I keep on putting my blog aside but hey I got a lot of things on my mind you know) the meeting today was a bore and luckily there isn't any complaint or whatsoever on the vessel that I am taking care. I thank god very much in guiding me and faithfully trust in me though I always took thing for granted but I never forget where my roots are.

Secondly, feeling tired as a result of yesterday. I didn't go home yesterday as I slept at the mess with my two buddy. The mess is actually rent by the company for the workers and like most of the time the mess are always empty because most of the crew only only go to the mess during their off days.

Hmm nothing much for my day today and I promise that if anything interesting happen, I let you all know aite mate. Take care,love always,now & forever from me to you.

so sorry..

Well it's been months of not updating the blog and I am truly sorry for everything as I been having a hectic schedule these past few months.

First and foremost, during the month of September, I went for the Occupational First Aid Course(O.F.A) and luckily I manage to pass and on the same month itself I went up to upgrade myself and go on another course relating to my job as currently I'm just a Safety Supervisor and I intended on becoming a Safety Officer. So the course that I went was Safety Coordinator and I took the exam on the 8th October 2008.

I just got the result and fair enough I manage to pass which was quite a miracle as I really have no confident of passing that course(it was difficult I tell you). The story of success didn't really come easy for me and I blame no one except for me as my parent gave me a good education but I took advantage by not studying properly although I know I can..teehee!!

Hmm,this coming year I am trying to apply for Mechanical Engineering(Part-time) Diploma which would take me 5 years and by then I would be able to take my Safety Officer course. I just wanna share this experience with whom or whoever is out there that is maybe like me in a sense please do not wait for opportunity to come and present itself to you but instead you present yourself to it.

I think that whatever happen is already decided so maybe we ourself should change the outcome of the whole situation. Damn! get all too emotional maybe ya..haha..especially after months of not writing and there I go on about this kind of speech..hehehe..Anyways this coming December going on a short trip to Thailand for my vacation and I will definitely take a lot of picture and post it in here. Hi ya all.. Sorry been rather busy these few weeks as my schedule just keeping on coming intead of going down. Anyway will try to update you all as often and as hardworking as I can ( a bit lazy actually..haha).

Firstly on the 19th July I had organise a drill onboard my vessel that is call man-overboard. In case you're wondering what that mean it is basically where a person who accidentally fall into the sea and how the response is carry out and the response is (in case a real incident really happen on the vessel). Anyway what really piss me off is that after the event only did I realise that someone was actually making use of me and been using my whole idea and concept behind my back. Who do I mean?? Well it's actually my main con safety department. Ermm what do I mean by that, well on the 25.07.08 was the monthly meeting for all the management and I have to attend that darn meeting every month (sigh!) he publicly announce that he is going to organise the same drill...You probably don't get it right?? Like what's wrong with having the same drill when you already done that right?? Well actually I do mind and here are some of the facts why I do mind:

• Firstly, during the meeting, with all the top management present no recogniton was being done by our dear MAIN-CON SAFETY for our effort.
• Secondly the report that I made was never being disseminate in the meeting.
• Thirdly on how boastful he announce it to the top management when he's doing the drill when the fact is he got the idea from me!! Well two words for that son of a gun: FUCK YOU!

Well been keeping it inside of me for quite sometime now and I feel relieved that I got to let it all out. Hmm, for the rest of last week was busy preparing another thing that is the blood test. The place where I work require that every foreigner or local people to take the mandatory blood test if they are working after 7p.m and it's a bitch anyway to be doing that every month. It's a hassle more than convienient but then again, who cares!!

Sorry been writing with full of hate because I just feel that I've been unappreciated and treated unjustified. Whatever it is I don't mind people learning but I hate it when people takes my idea and present it as their own. I bet you don't like it either right. Anyway yep that's bout it take care..

Hmm for today was quite an enjoyable one..as I went out with my former army mates during my National Service(N.S) in which we were all section mates. Hello it's me again..Well well been rather busy nowadays really trying to squeeze time to write. Hmm..today nothing much really but yeps jus hanging around at my work trying to solve whatever is needed to be done.

Well as usual same old routine just travelling to the open sea but this time its even better as I had company alongside with me. They are the surveyors(which is my colleague) and also the closest companion that I have everytime I venture into the sea. They are Yoyok and Iwan, both of them are from Indonesia and I'm very close with them during working time and as well as after office hours.

Basically they are the one who will be with me most of the time when I'm out travelling and I can't imagine how life would be without those two around..Haha..Hmm, the things is now that most of the workers and crew that I'm working are from Indonesia and I'm beginning to sound and look like them that basically I don't care as I'm comfortable with them.

I'm back and sorry for the long delay of six months of disappearance & leaving without any notification in which I am really sorry. So did anyone miss me??Haha..a lot of catching up to do ya in which i try to tell you in this blog.

Firstly, the last message was on the 23rd January in which I said I was bored of my job right?? Well a greener pasture is presented to me when I kept complaining that my job is quite boring...haha.. The new place that I was granted was more "interesting"..hehe.. I was sent to nother project site at Pulau Tekong! a land reclaimation project which will last for 2 years..(ARGHH).. Gosh its very far from where I'm staying and I have to wake up like around 6 in the morning. Therefore dear fellow human please I repeat PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU WISH FOR!!haha..

Well not all things are bad though, its quite interesting though on the long run. I've been transferred there for three months now and yeps,getting the hang of it. The scenery is not bad, the smell of the open sea is nice, my skin is getting tanner and I have a lot of ships that I'm looking after in which I'm goin to be posting it in this blog. I also met with a new bunch of working colleague in which I feel very comfortable working with.

I'm going for my co-ordinator course this September in which my pay would increase(yipee)! That means more responsibility and also higher chances for blame(thats is why the pay is probaly high..wakakaka...). Hmm basically this past few months a lots of things happen..Well for now hope that I will have time to write more often and squeeze in from my busy schedule..See ya around aite! Its been quite sometimes that i last wrote an entry. I've been sick for a few days now and I have yet to recover. A lot of things are not going well for me right now.



Firstly since the last entry everything seems to just go wrong. Here are the detail of events that are not going that well:

• My workload has been piling up and I haven't had a good sleep for sometime now


• I just been fine with 200bucks by some motherf*$^#@ whom i didn't even have the chance to give my statement. Ermm the helpline was indeed a hindrance. They never got back to me so it's true that they just wanted to fine and hear no reason.


• I'm broke for this month.

Well, things are not exactly. The workload is piling up but it's still manageable but the hearing of losing good quality sleep just sucks! Haha! Well the fine is a bit heavy on my pocket but i will pay it anyway. The thing that pisses me off is that i called the agency for feedback and also sent an email but i have yet to get any reply from them. Well thats just life, some people are only interested in only getting money but i hope god strike them with lightning because the way they do things are unorthodox. I don't mind getting fine for the wrong thing that i have done but this incidennt is something i wasn't even wrong to start with.

Anyways, next saturday i'm finally gonna get my hands on the p.s.p!Haha! Finally its time that i got my hands on it. I waited for it for a long time and it's gona be a reality. Ermm, the next plan that i have is kept for end of this year! I'm gona go for a holiday in Thailand. Hope eveything goes according to plan. That's about it for now, see you soon.
